HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! HELLO 2014!!!

ANOTHER YEAR HAS COME TO AN END AND WHAT HAVE YOU ACHIEVE FOR 2013?

I tagline  myself  last year  "all eyes and ears". This signifies that its my final year of diploma, its time to boost up and be alert both eyes and ears, Be observant and DON'T COMPLAIN! It is the end of it as my last semester is over and raising 20k in a month for a csr project and organizing a food and fashion event and more than 20 media's came. THAT is an achievement. These hard work pay off as my cgpa increased and with those late night sleeps, worrying about sponsors and media is all over!! 

With the experience i have from working line and putting it into college project to enhance its quite cool that 2 of my friends manage to sponsor for me for my project and 2 of my frens who are a media manage to come as well. It's quite hectic that 2 hands on event is happening.Despite conflicts, arguments and hatred i', interning in one of the top event company and there is this HUGE EVENT coming up and one of them is organising the FIFA WORLD CUP TROPHY TOUR!

Well before 1st January of 2014 always always ask yourself? Whats next?  I dont fancy resolutions coz i tend to break it i would rather do it spontaneously  then listing a whole damn things to do. I cried alot this year, i laugh less and i get frustrated like im pms-ing everyday but fuck it, its a whole new year! and realize alot of things about myself like people around you, your friends, family and self esteem start a life fresh like its a blank new book waiting to be written again.

We are young and playful, we take risks and learn mistakes. We fall but we get back up stronger. SO what is your new resolution for next year? If you are not happy, GET UP AND GO OUT, or sit somewhere alone and thing back about your life, ask yourself and stop complaining  about yourself all the time like calling yourself fat, fat ,fat when you are not going to do shit, asking yourself that you CAN'T do things when you dont know your strength. HOW ARE YOU GOING TO SUCCEED! HOW ARE YOU GOING TO BE SOMEONE YOUR KID GOING TO LOOK UP TOO! WHERE IS YOUR HARD WORK AND EFFORT PUT IN! so GET YOUR ASS UP AND BE SOMEONE INSPIRING! 

you dont lean against people, you are you and what is you is your decisions in making your life interesting or boring. 

Say Hello to 2014 as the time comes near , we welcome the new year with joy and happiness. It is time to STEP UP and make new decisions.  I am turning 20 this year and FINALLY the twenties!! gah! 

I am looking forward next year as charmander got a promotion and his doing such a big project and i am interning. So its a new level of us that we never encounter before, sometimes we tend to debate what useful things we do at work and comparing our project will be better, exchanging ideas. . lol! People say working in the events line, boyfriends wont last. We will see about it. ;x

This year wasnt a good year for me but Life is short so get back up and make a good one.

i got super exciting news to tell you guys this year and that involves something big that involves concerts tickets or free fashion or beauty stuff. so yeah.

i FEEL LIKE Christmas is more about forgiving a person and  turkey and reunions before the start of a new year. Will be starting my intern ship next week and i am so excited. 

I also love giving away presents but not this year.. wait till next year!. 

My apologies for not posting up lately, been busy with my new project Jens-Photography, preparing to intern by shopping new clothes and celebrating with family. been planning my photoshoots. 

Attended a hopeof ourbrothers production in city harvest is like ah boys to men but with a diff script and storyline. It was good but the speakers was too loud that it was bursting my ears out. lol. 

and i got more photoshoots coming up.. here is a sneak peak of what i have been up too 

Christmas is also a bonding between family. my side is done. we watched the hobbit together and went for christmas lunch, lok lok,  shopping!  watched victoria secret fashion show and cried my eyes out coz they are just so stunning and low self esteem went down to 100%.. 

Look out for upcoming big project i am doing.. most probably will be launching next year!

This poem/short story  is basically about a girl who falls in love so easily who is lost in her love world and was abused. She is in denial and how is it not easy to move on to a person that you care about or love. As for the guy who can portray him as hot tempered, control freak,  using her as a sex toy or using her for her appearances or looks.. etc..

Its one of the first restaurant that have EVER been that have a jazz-feel ( pun intended) ok maybe one of the first EVER that goes with jazz theme. This Asian fusion restaurant/ wine bar/ jazz club never fails to impress everyone who enters such a lovely place.

With its vibrant, warm colours with a touch of a light brown tables and chairs makes customers feel welcome and comfortable. It is definitely a good place to make party, proposals and man more. The detailing of the props/deco's is amazing.

Squid ink spaghetti with mushrooms, sun dried tomato and garlic.

If you are a pasta lover, this is one of the most flavourful and most interesting dish i have ever seen.

All the dishes was cook to its perfection and some of the food was refilled and plates was refilled. I didnt take the picture of the tiramisu which had a little brandy inside to hike up the taste. Excellent last dish...

This was in the bowler room which is in the top floor and Porcelene is the first Acid Jazz Bar and Restaurant in Malaysia! 

It was a very entertaining night mesmerizing us with the detailing for the restaurant, every step we take there is always something new to explore especially in such lovely place with the colourful umbrella's. A brand new place to explore. 

With many assorted wines and good food. This place is near mutiara damansara. Will definitely be back.

Csr Final Project Success in Star Rage

ONE passionate Teach For Malaysia (TFM) fellow and a group of IACT College students was all it took to give the students of SMK Tengku Idris Shah, Kapar, Selangor completely refurbished classrooms – and a much more conducive learning environment.

TFM fellow Jasmine Ong, who has dedicated two years of her life to teaching at the school, spoke to IACT lecturer Suhana Abdul Kadir about the poor conditions some of her students were studying under.
Suhana then suggested that some of her students take up the challenge to help the school for their projects on corporate social responsibility, and thankfully, a group of them were more than happy to accept it.
Student Lee Kah Yee said: “We really felt it was a good way to give back to the community.”

Lee and a group of classmates then set up a group called the Under Dogs, through which they organised Project Rebuilding Hope to take on the project of refurbishing the classrooms at SMK Tengku Idris Shah – and increase awareness about the conditions of poverty-stricken schools in the Klang Valley.

Getting donations for the project was not easy. Lee said: “We came up with something called the Pledge Card, for everyone in each class to raise RM700 to purchase tables and chairs."

“We approached our own relatives and friends, organised food sales, class-to-class donations and a campaign called ‘Loose Change For Hope’.”

They eventually managed to raise more than RM20,000, along with sponsorships from Ban Hing Paints (paint supplies), Jaya Setia Venture (doors and locks), Aworldtee Engineering (RM1,000 cash) and a couple who only wished to be known as Mr and Mrs Bates, who sponsored the project plaque.

Ong said she teaches Form Four English in five different classes at the school, using the “3A” model – access, affect and achievement.

The launch of Project Rebuilding Hope, which saw a group of students from IACT College raising funds to improve the condition of classrooms at SMK Tengku Idris Shah, Kapar, Selangor.

“Access means giving the students the opportunity to reach for their goals and chart a life path. Affect means instilling or reinforcing the values needed to bring them there and ultimately tying it all together – helping them raise their achievements via academic impact,” said Ong in an interview with the BRATs.

“You must give back to your community – you can’t just take. And when you give back, channel it to the right cause. I think it’s amazing what these students are doing with Project Rebuilding Hope; they’re giving hope to the students in SMK Tengku Idris Shah to actually achieve their dreams,” she added.

AFTER months of fundraising, a group of students from the IACT College in Petaling Jaya will finally realise their dream of giving five classrooms in Klang, a makeover this weekend.

The Diploma in Mass Communication students who refer themselves as the ’Underdogs’ will be visiting SMK Tengku Idris Shah to refurbish the classrooms together with their lecturers.

“We have been working very hard to raise enough money in time for the project and we are really happy with what we have collected,” said project manager Lee Kah Yee during the launch recently.

Lee said they had collected RM20,000 to date and would give primary focus on purchasing tables, chairs, fans, window panes and lights for the classrooms before looking into providing better stationeries and other necessities.

The corporate social responsibility effort was a collaboration with Project Rebuilding Hope (PRH) by 25-year-old Jasmine Ong.

Ong is a fellow from Teach for Malaysia Foundation who took a break from her law career to participate in the fellowship programme.

Next month will be Ong’s final month at the secondary school where she teaches English to five classes of Form 4 students after being placed in the school for two years.

“It has been quite an experience for me since I first came here,” said Ong who did not expect to encounter poorly managed classrooms.

Being a student once has made Ong realise the importance of a well-equipped classroom, hence she embarked on introducing PRH with different projects in mind.

“With Project Building Dreams, I wanted to refurbish the school’s canteen, English room and five classrooms,” said Ong who was glad the students assisted her in realising her dream.

During the event, guests were also given a sneak preview of the current state of the classrooms through a video shot by the students themselves.

“We hope to give the students and teachers of the school a better teaching and learning condition,” said Ong .
