A band named JUXTAPOSED performed a few songs and it was incredible. Malaysian Barista Champion showed his talent doing coffee arts and  Degayo's booth did a live roasting

The main sponsor is Nescafe, and then goes to Dankoff. Degayo ( 100% Arabica Coffee), coffex, soyfresh, Eciatto. Caffa is also supported by The Malaysian Food and Beverage Executives Association.

Besides just coffee, there is a art booth, Raja Azeem who is the vocal for the band Jusxtaposed/ designer/animator/painter and many more had a booth showing his awesome artwork. he also have a sketch book full of his drawings! how i wish i can even draw!! its incredible!!

I guess thats how coffee and art goes well.i cant find the right answer of why coffee? why art? but i feel like coffee arts amaze us on how they do it? or designs they make using steam milk.  i feel like for me art somehow fascinates me in so many different ways.. it made me see whether does it have a meaning or is it just a random drawing or is it suppose to be a mindfuck art? ( life of mass comm student, we learn how to observe things in a different perspective, we learn the 5 W's and H).

To all coffee and art lovers! if you love live music, coffee, art we have something special for you!

Caffa is coming to PUBLIKA on the 28 and 29 september!
Come experience it with your own eyes on live roasting, coffee talks, cup tasting, mixology and many more!

Phone:03-6207 9426

p:s: if you are new to this area pls be aware that the line in publika is not very good so let your frens/family know a meet up place which is easier.

Enjoy and see you in the event!

Isabella Tan- Papilion exclusively for you

hey guys, so i interviewed isabella personally and here are the Q and A just for my blogger fans.
well, for those who wont know her, dont worry, you will get to know her after this.
recently, she had her photography exhibition and i am so AMAZEEEEE by her work, not just the photography but the concept and editing, its just so so so amazing.

so here it is

1) What makes you want to venture into photography when you first got your dslr? and WHat was your first lens?

It's a complicated story. My first dslr was a Canon 500D and I got the kit lens. It was awful haha, the lens I mean but the camera was brilliant as a starter DSLR. I've always loved art but I never found the right medium to compose and bring my ideas and thoughts to life and then I found photography.

2)What was in your head when you plan your first photoshoot?
My first photoshoot wasn't even planned, that was the beauty of it I think. Photography doesn't have to be planned sometimes--it can be spontaneous and that spontaneity brings out a lot of the art. However I guess I was just thinking of that time "lets make her beautiful."

3) What was your theme? Didn't really have a theme hahaha. I did her makeup, grabbed a sheet and went "lets go take photos!"

4) Did you had good feedbacks after your first photoshoot? I did. It was surprising for me because it was done out of fun. But the most rewarding part about it was what she felt after the photoshoot and how she changed because of it.
