HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Sorry for the late post as im sitting here trying to catch my breath from work. I've been wanting to post this but i was trying to find time. 2014 has been an up and down year and im glad it is over.
Here is a recap what happened last year.
In with the new, Out with the old
Many things has happened to me last year and gaining experiences is one thing, bedridden is the second thing.
I started my internship in an event company that changed my perspective on events and observations and i am blessed as an intern, i learned from top to bottom and i was already taking a small lead on a project.
I started my internship a week before everyone started coz of this event happening and coming in as a fresh grad and i thought i knew how to organize and how to contact media from college but....I WAS ALL WRONG...
THIS WAS ALL TOTALLY NEW! I DONT EVEN HAVE TO CONTACTS MEDIA OR EVEN SPONSORS OR EVEN APPROACH CLIENTS!
Hello Real Working World!
This was a day before the event.. before i met the famous Japanese Footballer.. Hidetoshi Nakata |
Here is how the story begins.. i was ushering the footballers to the dressing room for them to get change to play for them to play and get warmed up on the field.. and as i was ushering Nakata up the stairs he noticed my shoelace untied and said "Your shoelace" i didnt want to bend and tie as my goal was to USHER HIM so i replied "Its ok, i will tie later" and he said ..."but you will fall" and he stopped as i tie and continued ushering him.. (conversation lasted 10 seconds).
A short event where we got to dressed up in Red. |
Our Taylor Swift doppelganger? |
One thing i love about events is holding a walkie talkie.. This was a great crew i had and called all of them during the Hotlink App Launch in Art Printing Factory. |
not to forget.. the highlight of my 2014!! Meeting my favourite artist! MY FIRST EVER CONCERT! |
Here is the bad side.
I sprained my ankle 3 days before my 20th birthday party.. HOW? Heels = Small Stairs! I dont want to post a picture of my huge swollen leg! and in September i woke up having a nerve pull and it never stop pulling so i had to go to chinese massage and she tried to loosen the muscle but my nerve keep twitching and i cried while she was massaging my neck. I met 3 doctors, took medication and one of the chinese doctor said i was too heaty, my heart is in danger, my blood circulation is not good and i sleep late and im was like its impossible for me to be this bad coz exercise and do detox too and in the end it took me 3 months and i realized still no recovery.
Every time when the car goes over a bump my neck will feel and it hurts and i needed to hold the pull. My neck couldnt move left and right and side ways and because of the pain my neck is causing on the left side is causing, my neck rested on the right leading it to a 'senget' neck. I could do so many things with my neck hurting.
1) I couldnt swallow solid food
2) I couldnt drive
3) I couldnt get up on the bed
4) I was on medication
I went to a few sessions to do acupuncture and this is wires connected from the needle to the voltage machine and you have to adjust the VOLTS on how fast you want but IT DIDNT FREAKING WORK! so i thought i go for a few sessions but all the sessions i go are all diff places the doctor put and it STILL DIDNT WORK!
I couldnt swallow solid food and due to the nerve problem, my chin swelled and i looked like i had double chin so i went to Life Care for a check up and ultrasound for my neck just to check why i cannot swallow solid food even if i can, it stuck half way down my throat and NOTHING WAS WRONG! so i presume its just the nerve somewhere got twisted.
Here is a picture of my neck |
In November, Charmander and I was walking around the mall and he told me there is an acupuncture place here you could try so i thought maybe i would give it a try so the doctor gave me a free session to find the cause of my neck and she said the same thing the western doctor said which is a "MUSCLE SPASM".
The difference between voltage acupuncture and normal acupuncture, voltage acupuncture are so much cheaper because they re-use your needles and also they cant reach certain areas of your body because of the volts i guess, they dont pay attention to you because of long queue but for this acupuncture i went , i had a whole room of myself and she paid attention to me, poke at the spot that hurts and also my leg nerve that connects to my neck and in an instance, my neck feels like its floating in the middle and my bump subsided slowly.
If you have a stiff muscle or body or sinus block or blood circulation not good, i recommend you the place i go for acupuncture. She not only uses a needle everytime, she used something like cigar and tried to loosen my muscle, she even massage and pitch out the muscle just to loosen it AND EVERYTIME SHE MADE MY NECK FEELS LIKE ITS FLOATING ... She is THAT GOOD!
It could be many things how my neck became like this and here are my predictions
1) Too long on the com without looking right and left
2) Dehydrated
3) Excessive work out using weights
4) Poor sleeping position or could be my pillow
Now i can look left but not 90 degree yet, i can look right, i can go sideways, i can run and i can drive. As time passed, it slowly heals and i try to do my own therapy everywhere i go.
Here is a picture i tried not taking a 'senget' face and before i started my acupuncture session. |
1) I should love myself more
2) Take care of myself more
3) Live life while it last.
I guess i ended my holiday after intense 6 months internship training with my fellow colleagues in a private island.

I would say that i dont have a resolution this year... my advice to you if you are reading this, is just to love yourself more and haters gonna hate.
If you have a low self esteem, dont just telling yourself you have a low self esteem, build your own confidence by looking in the mirror and telling yourself you are beautiful for who you are and your friends know you for who you are. im hoping to capture every memories i have with my loved ones.
I hoping for a great year and im hoping everything goes well for any upcomings.
