In life we always have whats good and bad, what good friends are there and whats not. whats goal and whats achievements?
For the past few months, i have been chasing day after day, events after events, yum cha with friends, making myself busy with more stuff to do and im not under the paid blogger category yet and my events all comes in one shot ( idk why). like today break dawn premiere 2 and tomorro Bloggerton. i plan my schedule till its so pack as my finals are coming too.
i experienced stress lately to the extend where i just want to break down, i experienced being super tired with only 4 hours of sleep and i am suppose to enjoy my "being a student" life. i worry about everything.
My mum came in and lectured me for 2 hours and she asked
Whats the benefit of you going to this events when you have nothing back?
I know events make u find new contacts and all but u have to do it now, coming back late when you can do it later on. what i need you to do now its just pass your diploma=.= ( of coz i will pass la)
Why do you need to chase after career and study at the same time?
Why do u need to pressure yourself so much?
Then i explained to her about my video editing assignment, i told her finals coming, but its not all that actually, its just that my hectic schedule ( got things to do la) .
I can be stress, happy, sad, pressured and i realized that i am just pressuring myself for nothing. i thought i could multitask doing 2 things at the same time while worrying about the other things to do. im jus worried because i want things to just keep going you know, its like a motor and it needs to run and i dont like things hanging or not going slow. Since finals r coming its time to work together with group mates and we make this works!
Main Things to do
1) presentation for public relation
2) sociology finals
3) malaysian studies
4) finish my article for Star
and etc..
We may be chasing after our dreams and start the hard way by experiencing it all now then later on it will be easy for u? or chasing it slowly by learning it now then hard way later. Different people have different perspective, goals, and way of thinking. You cant assume this special kind of people get lower income for taking course or things that are way different that what normal people do like law, mass comm, busines, marketing....
example if you are a comedian, and you love comedy so much, you want to explore more so you go to a comedy school and learn how to act and all. its not wrong because thats what they love to do.
or charmander, his a stuntman for movies, graduated in australia stunt academy and he can wtv stunts. he stunts for kl drift, budak pailang, errr alot. 14 movies locally and internationally and he loves what his doing.
ITS OK TO BE DIFFERENT FROM OTHERS, IF THINGS DONT WORK OUT LIKE IF THE COMEDIAN OR STUNTMAN WANT TO PURSE INTERNALLTIONALLY AND ASKING FOR SPONSORS but sponsors is hard to come by, DONT GIVE UP!
ITS EITHER YOU ASK AS MANY PPL AS POSSIBLE OR TRY A NEW OPTION IN LIFE.
We want to have a good career, everyone wants that and its the matter of how much you want it and how much you pour your heart out to it. We may fail but never too late to get back up. Its passion.
Imagine Taylor Swift here and there now, promoting, singing, after AMA's went for a shoot, the next day in a talk show with.. then the next day photoshoot. Her schedule is super busy but how she cope? She smiles all the time not showing how tired she is. i adore her for that, BECAUSE She loves whats she is doing!
i love this pic! |
shes just so hot. |
My point is, it is ok to be different, make the right choices, do what you love. if your parents keep telling you open book study is better, its bullshit or if they ask you to go college and study because thats what everyone is doing, well... not EVERYONE ... when some people can actually afford to buy their own car when you are still studying. think of it, if you love something you love so much, you will do anything to get what you want
More info, here a good article to prove http://www.martynemko.com/articles/sure-you-should-go-college_id1412
